Who I am
This website is run by Piers Day, trading as I Can Stop You Smoking. I am responsible for the personal information you share through this site. You can contact me on 0771 600 8836.
What I collect
When you request a consultation I collect your name, phone number, email address, whether you want help with smoking or vaping, your preferred type of session, and anything you choose to tell me in the message box. When you ask for the free guide I collect your first name, email address and phone number.
Why I use it
I use your details only to reply to your enquiry, arrange your consultation and sessions, and, if you asked for the free guide, to follow up with you about it and send occasional related emails. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time. The legal basis is your consent and, where you book sessions, the steps needed to provide them.
Health information
Information about your smoking or vaping can count as health information. I treat it as confidential, use it only to help you, and never share it for marketing.
Who else sees it
I never sell your information. Form submissions are stored by my website host and emails are sent through my email provider, who process data on my behalf under data protection law.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any sessions, and client records for as long as professional and legal requirements say I must. After that they are deleted securely.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Call me on 0771 600 8836 to do this. If you are unhappy with how I handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
